Trip Inclusion

GST 5%.

Accommodation: On triple sharing basis. Stay is separate for Male and Female. For 2 sharing tents, participants need to pay INR 2500 per participant.

Cloak room: Space to keep extraluggage.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner is included. We provide simple, nutritious Veg/Jain foodon all days of the trek. For Non-veg, participants need to pay INR 800/- extra.

Rucksack: A 60 litre bag with rain cover is provided for using in trekking. You can deposit your extra luggage with your bags at our camp site.

Camping charges: All trekking permits and forest camping charges are included.

Gaiters: To prevent snow from enteringinside your shoe.

Trekking equipment: High quality tents and sleeping bags inall the camps. Sleeping bags can withstand temperatures as low as -10 ºC.

Safety equipment and Emergency: First aid kit, oxygen cylinders, oximeter etc. will be with guide/trek leader and at camp site as well to deal withemergencies.

Expert trek Leaders: All our trek leaders are at least qualified in basic / advanced mountaineering and first aid course.

Expert Trek support team: The mountain staff on this trek consists of certified guides, cooks, helpers and porters.

day 1:reaching kasol.

participants will reach kasol basecamp from bhuntar.

all the participants will undergo through registration procedure after breakfast and freshening up.

post lunch acclimatization walk to chalal village.

orientation will be given in the evening .

overnight stay at kasol basecamp

day 2: trek to grahanvillage

trek will commence at 7am from kasol to grahan.

the trek starts from the centre of kasol and keeps to the true left of the grahan nalah.

the trail is easy and frequently used by locals.the trail goes through lovely pine forests.

the ascend is gentle and easy. one can effortlessly cover much distance in a couple of hours.

after grahan nalah the trail becomes rocky and climbing uphill, away from the right bank of the river.

buras (rhododendrons) grows in the forest here.

after a steep climb of about an hour, one reaches the village of grahan, situated at the top.

overnight stay in tents at grahan.

day 3: grahan to mungthach.

in the morning we climb towards the north of camping ground atgrahan.villagers canbeseen using this path for mung thach.

after walking for a while, one can see mung thach, nagaru, and sartop on the mountain to the right.

the trail also becomes steeper and leads into the woods.

the slope becomes steeper and the path is confusing in some places.

after crossing the forest we arrive to mung thach.

overnight in tents at mungthach.

day 4:mung thach to nagaru.

trek from mung thach to nagaru is a short but difficult part.

the slope falls steeply to the valley.

after crossing steep slope for a couple of hours, one finally reaches nagaru campsite.

facing north, one can see magnificent mountains across the parvati valley.

night is very cold due to the chilling wind. it is advisable to sleep early to avoid cold and the next day involves an earlystart.

day 5: nagaru to biskeri thach viasar pass.

next day we have to make an early start, as the climb is steep through the snow.

sar pass and the elevated peaks of the tosh valley are now visible.as one reaches the top, the view is exhilarating.

after that the slide is the most fun and completely safe as long as some precautions are taken.

the slidetakes one as far as a kilometre to a gentler slope of the valley. valley arrives after walking for an hour from sarpass.

we will then continue the trekthrough some dense rhododendron bushes towards biskeri thach campsite.

overnight stay in tents at biskeri thach.

day 6: biskeri thach to barshaini

drive back to kasol basecamp

Any person with health conditions like Asthma etc. is advised not to go for this expedition. However, if they so decide, it is at their own risk.

Please keep yourself hydrated throughout the trek and fuel yourself with some energy bars, protein bars, or any snacks to maintain the energy level.
Involve yourself in some physical activities like jumping, running, stretching, as it increases the stamina and strength of the body.
