MANALI -LEH - MANALI

day 01 : delhi to manali (overnight journey)

• the group will assemble at the pick-up point in the evening.

• we'll meet the team captain and complete the boarding formalities.

• we will board the bus and begin our overnight journey to manali.

note: the pickup point would be majnu ka tila (tentative).

day 02 : manali sightseeing (acclimatization)

• check in to the hotel, freshen up & relax.

• a short brief session will be conducted for the leh trip.

• the rest of the day is at leisure for acclimatization purposes.

• travelers can indulge in exploring local manali at their convenience. ( by their own )

• like vasishta temple, haddimba temple, mall road, jogini waterfall or cafes in old manali.

• come back to the hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

• call it an early night to rest and prepare for the upcoming adventures.

day 03 : manali to sarchu (200 kms, 8 hrs drive approx.)

• wake up early in the morning, and get ready for the exotic trip of your life.

• post breakfast, we will head towards sarchu while traversing through the iconic atal tunnel and baralacha-la pass (15,910 ft.).

• en route, we’ll also make a pit stop at deepak tal which is a pristine lake in the himalayas. we’ll also be traversing the zing zing bar as well as suraj tal which is yet another high-altitude lake.

• upon our arrival in sarchu, we will indulge in some group bonding activities followed by dinner and an overnight stay in sarchu.

day 04 : sarchu to leh (250 kms, 8 hrs drive approx.)

• wake up early in the morning, and enjoy the mesmerising view.

• post breakfast, the bikers will get their allotted bikes and we will start the ride.

• en route, we’ll be passing through three iconic high-altitude passes which are nakee-la (15,547 ft), lachung-la (16,600 ft), and tanglang-la (17,480 ft)

• we’ll also be riding through the enthralling gata loops which consists of 21 hairpin bends on the manali leh highway.

• we’ll also be traversing the iconic more plains which is an aesthetic 40 kilometers stretch of land & upshi which is a tiny ladakhi hamlet.

• upon our arrival in leh, we’ll check into our designated stay. hot dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay in leh.

day 05 : leh to nubra valley (162 kms, 6 hrs drive approx.)

• wake up early in the morning, enjoy the exquisite view.

• post breakfast, we’ll head out for nubra valley.

• enroute, we will make a pit stop for getting snacks at the second highest motorable roads in the world, khardung la pass (18,380 ft).

• upon reaching nubra valley, we’ll check into our campsite.

• in the evening, we will visit hunder village: famous for sand - dunes where travelers can indulge in double hump bactrian camel rides, atv rides, and much more. (on personal expense)

• we will return back to the camps, enjoy the hot served dinner and overnight stay in nubra valley.

day 06: nubra - turtuk - nubra (170 kms, 6 hrs drive approx.)

• wake up early in the morning, enjoy the warm sunlight and morning view.

• after breakfast, we'll be heading towards turtuk village (last village of india at indo-pak border)

• upon our arrival in turtuk, we’ll spend some time exploring the beautiful village.

• (turtuk is a remote village of about 4,000 residents inhabited by ethnic muslims, a few kilometres from ‘the line of control’ (the de facto border) between india and pakistan, on the indian side.)

• we'll head back to nubra by the evening where we'll have dinner followed by overnight stay.

day 07 : nubra to pangong (280 kms, 8 hrs drive approx.)

• post-breakfast, we’ll check out from our campsite and head towards pangong lake.

• en-route, we will visit the diskit monastery, (100ft tall colourful statue of buddha).

• after paying our reverence at the monastery, we will resume our journey towards pangong, (the iconic lake that has gained popularity ever since featuring in the bollywood blockbuster movies like 3 idiots and jab tak hai jaan).

• pangong tso is a high altitude alpine lake and is the most fascinating lake because it changes its color.

• upon reaching pangong, we will check in to our cottages/ camps where we will have dinner followed by overnight stay.

day 08 : pangong to leh (230 kms, 7 hrs drive approx.)

• after spending a night under the starry skies and waking up to the beautiful view of pangong lake, we will have breakfast early in the morning.

• traversing through chang la pass (17,800 ft), which is third highest passes in the world, we will head back to leh.

• en route, we will visit the shey palace (popular for its 12-meter-tall gold-gilded buddha statue of shakyamuni. we will also pay our respects at thiksey monastery, which is the largest monastery in central ladakh.

• upon reaching leh, we will check into our hotel where we will have dinner and spend the night.

note: visiting shey palace and thiksey monastery are subject to time.

 

day 09 : leh sightseeing

• after early morning breakfast, we’ll head out for our local sightseeing tour.

• we will visit the sangam point in the leh region where the zanskar river meets the indus river to form a beautiful confluence.

• afterwards we will head towards, gurudwara pathar sahib, magnetic hill (which is an anti-gravity hill) and the hall of fame (a war memorial maintained by the indian army).

• the last stop on our sightseeing tour is the iconic shanti stupa known for its beautiful white dome shape, statues, and intricate carvings

• we will return to our hotel where dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay in leh.

day 10 : leh to sarchu (230 kms, 8 hrs drive approx.)

• post breakfast, we’ll check out of leh and head towards sarchu traversing the same pictures que roads that we did before and recollecting the memories for life.

• bikers will drop their bikes in sarchu.

• upon our arrival in sarchu, we’ll check into our campsites at sarchu.

• dinner followed with overnight stay in sarchu.

day 11 : sarchu to manali (200 kms, 8 hrs drive approx.)

• after breakfast, we’ll check out of our campsite and start our return journey to manali.

• upon our arrival in manali, we’ll spend the rest of the day at leisure.

• in the evening, we’ll take the bus from manali for our final way back to delhi.

day 12 : delhi arrival | tour ends

• upon arrival in delhi, the group will part ways with relishable memories of the trip.

• end of leh tour with new buddies and and lifetime stories
