Also available in combination as a Jodhpur Jaisalmer tour package, this curated itinerary blends heritage, culture, desert thrills, and royal Rajasthani charm into a seamless travel experience.
At the heart of the city stands Jaisalmer Fort—a UNESCO World Heritage site built in 1156 AD from warm, honey‑coloured sandstone. At Gadisar Lake, a tranquil oasis on the city’s edge, you can watch temples and chhatris mirrored in the water and even take a boat ride at sunset across light-filled waterside scenery. Birdlife often graces the edges in winter.
A night under the desert sky is the highlight of this Jaisalmer trip package. Enjoy a sunset camel safari through the golden sand dunes at Sam, followed by folk music, dance performances around a bonfire, local cuisine, and stargazing till dawn.
Just outside the city is Bada Bagh, a royal memorial park of intricately carved cenotaphs set amidst desert fields. It’s best visited late afternoon when the setting sun lights up each sandstone cenotaph in golden hues.
