in the afternoon, we'll start our half-day city tour from ba dinh square - the heart of hanoi where cultural and political events take place.
we will visit the complex of ho chi minh, where we'll see ho chi minh's mausoleum, house-on-stilts, fishpond, and the japanese one-pillar pagoda.
next, we'll visit the temple of literature which is considered the first university in vietnam.
to get an overall view of the city, we'll take a 1-hour cyclo ride around the old quarter of hanoi and the hoan kiem lake, also known as the "sword" lake.
we'll then wander through the narrow streets of the old quarter to experience the local life.
after the tour, we'll transfer you back to your hotel for a comfortable stay.

day 2: full day sic tour to ninh binh – hoa lu – tam coc.
wake up to a delicious breakfast at your hotel, and get ready for an exciting day ahead.
today we will drive you 90km south of hanoi to the historic site of ninh binh, the ancient capital city of vietnam.
next, we will take you on a boat ride through the stunning series of tam coc caves, which is known as “halong bay on land” as the huge limestone karsts dot the river amidst the lush paddy fields.
enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before we continue our adventure and visit hoa lu, the site of the former kings' palace in the 10th century.
marvel at the intricate wooden reliefs of the dinh and le temples that stand tall to this day.
our exploration of ninh binh concludes with a visit to bich dong pagoda, a serene and peaceful place that will leave you in awe.
upon completing the sightseeing by late afternoon, we will start our journey back to hanoi, feeling enriched and rejuvenated from the day's adventures.

day 3: lunch cruise in halong bay. evening at leisure.

after a 3.5-hour road journey through the picturesque countryside of vietnam, we will reach the tuan chau marina from where you will board your lunch cruise.
embark on this 4-hour day cruise to explore halong bay also known as the "descending-dragon" bay.
as we make our way inside this natural wonder, marvel at the uniquely shaped limestone and karst formations named based on their shape like sail island, fisherman's head rock, butterfly rock, or turtle islet.
during this lunch cruise, we will also stop by the caves and pass by the floating houses.
enjoy a delicious lunch onboard before heading back to the mainland.

we will then transfer you to the airport (without guide) for your flight to danang - a scenic coastal town in central vietnam.
fly to danang and meet your local tour guide outside the airport who will help you board your transfer to the hotel.
upon reaching, check into your hotel and freshen up.

upon reaching, we will embark on a cable car ride to reach the summit of bana hills which is 1487 m above sea level.
reach bana hills and explore funicular, debay ancient wine cellar & le jardin d’amour, linh ung pagoda, and thich ca buddist statue.
spend the afternoon, enjoying activities and games in fantasy park.
visit the bell tower, nghinh phong tower, and golden bridge to take beautiful photos of the mountain and enjoy panoramic views of the danang city.
in the evening, after exploring the bana hills, embark on the return journey by taking a cable car ride back.

day 6: full-day tour to hoi an. explore the unesco ancient town
begin your day by having your breakfast and then get ready for a fun-filled day.

upon reaching, we will begin exploring the hoi an town starting from a nice walk over the tile-roofed japanese bridge built in the 17th century.
next, we will visit the chinese hall assembly and take a walk through the ancient houses of hoi an.
we will enjoy some folk music of central vietnam by visiting the old clubhouses lined across the town.
enjoy some shopping at the local market lined along the thu bon river which exudes oriental and vintage vibes.
you can shop some lanterns, soft silk, raw silk or get your clothes tailored within a day in hoian.
after enjoying your day in this ancient town, board your transfers back to danang.

day 7: transfer from danang to saigon. day at leisure.
after having your breakfast at the hotel, get ready and check out from the hotel.
we will then transfer you to the airport (without guide) for your flight to ho chi minh city, also known as saigon which is the most dynamic city in vietnam
fly to saigon and meet your local tour guide outside the airport who will help you board your transfer to the downtown area.
upon reaching, check into your hotel and freshen up.
you can then spend the rest of the day at leisure.
during this time, you can choose several activities like exploring the best tourist attractions in saigon, shopping in the ben thanh market, or enjoying the bustling nightlife of saigon.

day 8: full-day tour to mekong delta
post breakfast at the hotel, get ready to explore the countryside of vietnam.
from the hotel, board your transfers to my tho, which is the homeland of coconut and family factories of local products like coconut candy, rice paper, etc.
upon reachingboard a scenic boat that will take you to explore the mekong delta where you will witness the amazing life of the locals.
during this boat ride, we will take a small stopover to savor the local tropical fruits accompanied by traditional southern vietnamese folk music.
we also visit the small canals shadowed with coconut trees, through small boats that are used by locals to visit the factories.
stroll through the garden and watch locals produce coconut candy milk and how they feed the honeybees. do try the popular honey tea.
upon completing the boat ride, we will visit the vinh trang pagoda, a famous pagoda in the area, with a unique blend of chinese, cambodian and french architecture.
after completing the exploration for the day, we will board our transfers back to saigon.
in the evening, reach saigon and call it a day.
